Dr. Alvarado is a licensed professional counselor in Texas. She holds supervisor status and has been practicing in the mental health field for more than 10 years. She maintains membership in various professional organizations, including the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, the American Counseling Association, and the Texas Counseling Association. Dr. Alvarado became a contributing faculty member in Walden’s MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in 2013.
