Dr. Boris Bruk holds a PhD and master's degrees in public administration from Virginia Tech as well as a master's in international studies from the University of Wyoming. Before coming to the United States, Dr. Bruk worked for a regional administration in Russia, first as a consultant in the international affairs department, and later as an advisor to the head of the department of economic development. As part of his work, he participated in international projects for regional development and reform. In the United States, Dr. Bruk has been engaged in a number of teaching, research, and service responsibilities in Wyoming, Virginia, and, currently, NYC. At Walden University, Dr. Bruk serves as a Contributing Faculty in the Public Policy and Administration Program. His research interests include public management, comparative and international public administration and policy, citizen participation, administrative ethics.
