Jeff Bumgarner

Jeff Bumgarner (Ph.D., Minnesota) is a contributing faculty member in Public Policy and Administration. He has taught in higher education for over 20 years. He also served several years in federal and local law enforcement as a criminal investigator, deputy sheriff, and police chief. He still holds peace officer licenses in the states of Minnesota and North Dakota. Dr. Bumgarner has published widely in the fields of criminal justice, public administration, and sociology. He is the author, co-author, or editor of nine books as well as multiple articles and book chapters.
