Courtney S. Brumfield received her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in November of 2020. She is Board Certified as a PMHNP through the ANCC. She currently serves as a Clinical Instructor for Walden University. Since the fall of 2022, she is a faculty member of the School of Nursing and teaches Clinical Courses for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner students. Ms. Brumfield holds APRN licenses in Ohio and Minnesota and is currently practicing as an APRN-CNP PMHNP in an outpatient setting. Professionally, Ms. Brumfield has experience as an APRN in multiple settings including inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, and private practice. She has also worked as a Registered Nurse in many different specialties including the ER, ICU, and medical-surgical units in hospitals all across the United States.
