Dr. Peoples is a qualitative researcher, counselor educator, and private practitioner and relationship coach. She serves on the board of two scholarly journals, Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention and the International Journal of Learning, Teaching, and Educational Research. She is a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and Massachusetts and a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. She works with couples and clients working on relationship issues and infidelity struggles in her online practice and provides consulting services for other clinicians interested in creating passive income using their specializations. In addition to journal article publications and book chapters, Dr. Peoples is also a published author of the books Infidelity Survival Plan: The Quintessential Guide to Surviving an Affair and Losing the Bond With God: Sexual Addiction and Evangelical Men. Dr. Peoples became a contributing faculty member in Walden’s School of Counseling in 2010 and has been a core faculty member since 2012.
