Background

Dr. Faulty is a core faculty member in the Counselor Education and Supervision program. She has been a counselor educator since 2005, supported by more than 20 years as a mental health counselor. Her clinical practice includes work with a variety of populations, with particular focus on trauma resolution. She is a licensed professional counselor, national certified counselor, and approved clinical supervisor. Dr. Faulty has served on the Mississippi State Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors and the executive boards for the Mississippi Counseling Association and the Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselors Association. She publishes scholarly writings for professional counseling journals and textbooks on a regular basis.
