Chad Husted
Chad Husted has an M.F.A. in Fine Arts from Louisiana State University and has been teaching college writing since 2001. In his role as a contributing faculty member, Mr. Husted has taught English, Humanities, and Creative Writing classes at Walden since 2009.
Although Mr. Husted's background and publishing experience are primarily in creative writing, Chad loves teaching Humanities 1001 (Walden's first term class) and first year writing/composition courses because of the enthusiasm and rapid growth of students.
Mr. Husted's research interests are focused on current teaching practices (especially as they relate to online learners), Creative Writing Studies, and Andragogy.
