Background

Dr. Hoffman is an Ohio-licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisory designation and works as a clinical director for an addictions treatment facility in Ohio. She serves on various American Counseling Association-related organizational boards and committees in roles that include associate editor for research for the Journal of Mental Health Counseling and member of the ACA Publications Committee. She has published 10 articles and four book chapters on various topics, including self-injurious behavior, suicide, and counselor education/supervision. Dr. Hoffman is a contributing faculty member in Walden’s counseling master’s degree programs.
