Dr. Colaizzi's formal training is in pharmacy where she has had 15 years of experience in many different roles. She first started her career in community pharmacy as a Staff Pharmacist and then moved to the industry side where she worked in the Medical Affairs department as a Medical Information Specialist. While in this role, she was to responsible for
communicating not only to patients and health
care providers, but also to a team of marketing
executive, medical, quality assurance and safety
teams. She has also
worked on an “Investigator Initiated study”
alongside physicians and nurses investigating the efficacy of two different Multiple Sclerosis therapies. She now teaches Advanced Pharmacotherapy for Walden University in the School of Nursing.
