Dr. Ford has been a full-time counselor educator since 2004. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Oregon, a nationally certified counselor, and an approved clinical supervisor. Dr. Ford’s clinical expertise is working with PTSD and veteran populations. She is a certified compensation and pension examiner with the Veterans Administration healthcare system and regularly sees veterans in her private practice. Another interest of Dr. Ford’s is humanitarian and disaster work. She has been a psychosocial volunteer for Medical Teams International since 2004, with international assignments in Banda Aceh, Indonesia (2005), and Chisinau, Moldova (2011, 2012). Dr. Ford has been a contributing faculty member at Walden University since 2010.
