Mental health issues related to infertility, pregnancy, and childbirth
Dr. Costin holds a PhD in Counseling and Human Development Services with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kent State University. She earned her master’s degree in counselor education with a dual specialization in school counseling and mental health counseling from the University of Virginia. Dr. Costin is a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts, a nationally certified counselor, and approved clinical supervisor. She has been a counselor educator for 15 years, and during most of that time she has worked with master’s and doctoral counseling students online and at residencies. In addition to being a core faculty member at Walden University, she has a private practice in Massachusetts where she has a special interest in providing mental health counseling to individuals and couples related to topics of infertility, pregnancy, and childbirth.
