In the EdD Early Childhood Education specialization, you’ll build skills and progress toward your final capstone project in every course.

In general, students are continuously registered in the dissertation/doctoral study course until they complete their capstone project and it is approved. This usually takes longer than the minimum required terms in the dissertation/doctoral study course shell.
To complete a doctoral dissertation, students must obtain the academic approval of several independent evaluators including their committee, the University Research Reviewer, and the Institutional Review Board; pass the Form and Style Review; gain approval at the oral defense stage; and gain final approval by the Chief Academic Officer. CHICAGO – June 22, 2022 – Walden University, a pioneer in distance learning, announces a new agreement with the International Public Safety Association (IPSA) to provide tuition-assistance and grant opportunities for IPSA members who want to further their education in public safety.
The agreement applies to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in criminal justice, public health, human services, nonprofit leadership and public administration.
Walden University is an HLC accredited institution offering more than 100 degree and certificate programs in a convenient, flexible online learning format. Areas of study include nursing, education, counseling, business, psychology, public health, social work and human services, public administration and public policy, criminal justice, and more.
