Benjamin, (Emeritus), executive director of the American Public Health Association, and Dr. Glenna Crooks, noted health care consultant. The webinars are free and open to the public, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis through April 8.

Dr. Benjamin is well-known in the world of public health as a leader, practitioner and administrator. Since December 2002, he has been the executive director of the American Public Health Association (APHA), which is the nation's oldest and largest organization of public health professionals. Prior to this appointment, he served as the secretary of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, playing a key role in the development of Maryland's bioterrorism plan. He will share his insights on the role of public health professionals during a time of increased focus on health care reform.
