Program Book
An electronic version of the summer 2022 commencement program book is available for downloading, saving, and/or printing. This initial version of the program book includes information about the university and the ceremony. The full version of Walden’s 67th Commencement program book with the names of all graduates who received degree conferral between December 15, 2021, and May 4, 2022, will be published online in September. Please note that inclusion in the commencement program book is based upon academic completion date and not upon commencement ceremony attendance.
How to Watch the Ceremonies
Face-to-Face Ceremonies
Each commencement ceremony held at the Henry B. González Convention Center will be broadcast live. The link to those broadcasts will be available here beginning Thursday, June 23, 2022. The livestream will begin 10 to 30 minutes prior to the start of each ceremony.
Virtual Ceremonies
For this virtual commencement, we will bring the event to you. There will be two events to view on the day of commencement.
The University Welcome
This event will feature messages from university leaders, our commencement speaker, and more.
On Sunday, June 26th at 2 p.m. Eastern time you can watch this ceremony here or on our Facebook event page.
The Division Ceremonies
During the division-based ceremonies, degrees will be conferred and graduates will be individually recognized by their college and degree level.
Immediately following the university welcome, your individual academic division ceremony will be available to view on this page. Graduates should consult their pre-event communications or review the ceremony key to confirm which ceremony they should attend.
The Division of Healthy Communities and Organizations
The ceremony for the Division of Healthy Communities and Organizations will recognize graduates of all degree levels in the College of Health Sciences and Public Policy, College of Management and Human Potential, College of Psychology and Community Services, School of Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Studies, and The Richard W. Riley College of Education and Human Sciences.
Division of Healthcare Access and Quality
The ceremony for the Division of Healthcare Access and Quality will recognize graduates of all degree levels in the College of Allied Health and the College of Social and Behavioral Health.
The Division of Healthcare Access and Quality – Nursing
The ceremony for the Division of Healthcare Access and Quality – Nursing will recognize graduates of all degree levels in the College of Nursing.
