Virginia Arbuckle is a retired educator with 34 years of educational experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake and her Masters of Education degree from Stephen F. Austin University. Throughout her career she held numerous positions. She was a classroom teacher for 20 years where she focused on early reading, reading lab intervention, as well as balanced literacy. The remaining 14 years she held positions of curriculum & assessment, assistant principal, principal, inclusion specialist, district curriculum and assistant superintendent. Virginia currently serves as part time university supervisor for Walden University. It is her desire to continue to support teacher candidates in achieving successful teaching careers.
