Dr. Adams received her doctorate in Counseling Education & Supervision. She is the founder of Rasidi Consulting Associates, LLC providing individual, couples, family counseling as well as psycho-educational groups to the community. She has held mental health consulting contracts with Early Intervention as well as HeadStart. Dr. Adams transitioned to higher education teaching master's as well as doctoral courses. Dr. Adams has5+ years experience in higher education and has provided supervision for several master's level students.

Dr. Adams has research interests in media influence (visual & music) on cultural identity and body-image. Dr. Adams has published and enjoys collaborating with peers in research opportunities. She also develops and facilitates trainings/workshops at local businesses in the community. Dr. Adams is currently working on publishing her first book.
