Tony Smith

Prof. Smith has subject matter expertise in criminological theories and quantitative analysis. He has been teaching criminal justice and educational theory classes for over 20 years. Dr. Smith has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, many with former students, and has served as a research consultant for numerous law enforcement and community organizations. He is also a longstanding member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and American Society of Criminology. Professor Smith teaches a wide variety of graduate courses at Walden University and is currently chairing several dissertation committees investigating law enforcement issues and practices.
