Dr. Tim Lafferty is a core faculty member who joined Walden University in 2013. He currently works with the Research Team on prospectus development, manages the progress of the growing ABD student population, serves as a doctoral chairperson and second member to multiple doctoral committees. oversees the instruction of EDDD and RSCH courses. He has a long history as a teacher and administrator in public, private and public charter schools in Pennsylvania, New York and Florida. For most of his career, Dr. Lafferty has served as a school administrator; these positions included two public school superintendent positions, 2 charter school executive directorships, and an executive director for a for-profit educational company. Dr. Lafferty served as an Executive Director of Kaplan University.
