Dr. Tim Lafferty is a senior contributing faculty member who joined Walden University in 2013. He serves as a URR, a chairperson on multiple doctoral committees and an instructor of a variety of EDUC and EDDD courses. He has a long history as a teacher and administrator in public, private and public charter schools in Pennsylvania, New York and Florida. For most of his career, Dr. Lafferty has served as a school administrator; these positions included two public school superintendent positions, 2 charter school executive directorships, and an executive director for a for-profit educational company. Dr. Lafferty is currently collaborating on the development of a new blended-model charter school.
