Dr. Tom DePaoli’s formal training is in human resources, leadership and process improvement. He has served in various roles over his 20+ year career. Dr. DePaoli is the CEO of his own consulting business Apollo Solutions which does various business projects. He is extremely active in the YMCA as a board member and supporter of numerous wellness programs which includes cancer survivors, pre-diabetes, and youth weightlifting. He remains active in sports coaching for young adults. He is involved in supporting Veteran's transition to employment and higher education by helping with resume preparation, mock interviews, getting financial aid assistance, and LinkedIn preparation. At Walden University he teaches leadership and innovation courses in the MBA and Leadership program.
Dr. DePaoli’s current research interests focus primarily on leadership and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt). He has published over fifty articles on various websites and blogs. He has thirteen books published on Amazon.
