Dr. Brantle’s professional experience in the transportation (GM Research Labs) and telecommunications (Bellcore/Bell Labs / Lucent Technologies) industries has included research and development, systems engineering and project management, operations management and information systems, product and marketing management, and sales and account management responsibilities.
He received his Ph.D. and an M.S.M. in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, an M.A. in Statistics and Operations Research from The Pennsylvania State University, an M.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Rhode Island, and a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the State University of New York at Cortland.
Additionally he holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
He is also an adjunct professor for a couple of Universities where he teaches both online and face to face courses. As a current online instructor and former online student, he understands what it is like to be on both sides of the learning equation. As a result, he is sensitive to and appreciates students’ unique learning goals and requirements. He is passionate about online distance learning.
