Tamika A. Davis has been a Clinical Instructor for Walden University for over 5 years. She started her nursing journey as a Medic in the United States Army Reserves for 8 years and then became a Registered Nurse and worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 8 years. Thereafter, she received her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from Georgia State University in 2004. She has worked in Urgent Care Centers, Retail Medicine, Family and Pediatric Primary Care Practices. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 15 years. Over the years she has taught clinical courses to Undergraduate and Graduate students through virtual settings and students from various universities. Her primary interest is Respiratory Conditions in the School Age Child. For over 10 years she has volunteered to teach children and their families Asthma Management. She is a dedicated, self-motivated professional with a commitment to sharing the knowledge of Nursing.
