My name is Sylvia Blanchard, DNP, FNP-BC. I have been a didactic and clinical faculty at Walden for 10 years and teach in the Walden School of Nursing. My area of interest is family practice, and my passion is combating childhood obesity.

I started my own practice over 22 years ago, and I absolutely love it. I am married and the mother of 3 beautiful daughters, 1 beautiful granddaughter, and 1 handsome grandson. I love all sports, reading, traveling, and family time.
