Suzanne Oakes has been with Walden University since 2009 teaching in the Center for General Education (CGE). She has served Walden as a Lead Faculty for the first term course, Living & Learning in a Technological World, CGE Curriculum and Academic Policy (CAP) committee, and has supported CGE Faculty Development & Recognition activities. In addition, she teaches the new undergraduate faculty orientation course for the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) and was awarded a Faculty Excellence Award in 2017. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Community Health and a M.A. in Communication from Bethel University, St. Paul, MN.
