Dr. Simone Salandy is an experienced survey statistician and epidemiologist whose expertise is quantitative methods and analyses. Dr. Salandy applies expertise in demography, statistics, and epidemiology to the design and implementation of large complex health surveys. Dr. Salandy also provides statistical and methodological guidance in the development of research topics related to chronic disease, health promotion/behaviors and tobacco surveillance in an international and domestic setting. Dr. Salandy’s research interest includes environmental health, tobacco surveillance, chronic disease, vulnerable populations and health promotion.
