Dr. Shelly Simmons spent 25 years in the K-12 public education sector in the Harrison County School District in Gulfport, Mississippi. After teaching for six years, she became a school administrator for 19 years. It was Dr. Simmons’s goal to become a professor at a university. She began teaching various graduate courses at a local university for over 5 years.
