Shelby Dewitt

Shelby I. DeWitt received her Post Master's Certificate and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2020. She currently serves as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for the inpatient Palliative Care team for Trinity Health Physician Partners and has served in this role since September of 2019. Professionally Dr. DeWitt began her career as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Room in 2005 and then worked as an Intensive Care Unit Manager and Director. She received her Master's in Nursing Education from Michigan State University in 2010. Dr. DeWitt began as a Contributing Faculty Member for the Master's in Nursing Education Program in 2021. Dr. DeWitt is a subject matter expert for Tempo Learning specialization in Nursing Education and Nursing Executive.
