Dr. Walker received her PhD in Education from Walden University in 2001. She has been teaching at Walden University since 2002 in the college of education (Master's and Doctoral level programs). She has been in public education since 1993 as a classroom teacher and administrator. Throughout her tenure she has been a presenter at state and local meetings where she promoted various aspects pertaining to career/technical education. She has also been instrumental in promoting career and technical education to local business/ industry and to state-wide organizations.
