Dr. Sarah MacDonald is an LCSW, DSW and the Clinical Director of the Behavioral Health at a community health center in Hartford Connecticut who holds a doctoral degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She has held a variety of leadership roles within the Social Work field overseeing an array of clinical providers and different service lines. Sarah has been a practicing Social Worker for nearly 15 years with significant clinical experience spanning from in-home and residential services to the outpatient level of care. Sarah specializes in gender affirming care with a focus on transitioning youth and young adults. Sarah ​has many focuses ​to her teaching tenure, with special ​interest in clinical practice, leadership in ​Social Work and clinical diagnosing.
