Ph.D. Developmental Psychology

Dr. Sandra Street received a Ph.D. in Psychology and an M.S.Ed in Learning & Developmental Sciences from Indiana University. She has been teaching Psychology courses since 2006 and began teaching at Walden in 2015. Her current responsibilities include teaching courses in the Developmental Psychology program and mentoring dissertation students. Dr. Street's primary research interests are broadly in cognitive development. Specific interests include the development of perception/action, spatial cognition, and the role of perception in mathematics. She also has interests in music cognition as well as cognition in gifted children. Dr. Street has presented at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
