Ruth Politi
Dr. Ruth Politi’s formal training is in Nursing Administration, Education, Ethics, and Research She has served in various roles over her 20+ year career in Las Vegas, NV before moving to higher education where she taught students in both the online and face-to-face learning environments as an Associate Professor.
At Walden University, she teaches various Nursing Education courses and core classes for the College of Nursing including specialty and core courses. Dr. Politi has served on numerous DNP student dissertation committees as a member and as a University Research Reviewer.
Dr. Politi’s current research interests focus primarily on the workplace environment with a focus on safe staffing, organizational ethics, and the new graduate nurse's transition into professional practice. In addition to peer-reviewed articles, Dr. Politi has published 3 book chapters in the areas of simulation and regulatory requirements in healthcare. She has presented at the local and national levels on professional issues, including inter-professional communication. Dr. Politi also serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Nursing Education.
