Ron McFarland is a highly motivated and successful professional with extensive experience in the education and technology/computing sectors. Ron is listed as a Subject Matter Expert with the DoD's Cybersecurity and Information Systems Information Analysis Center (CSIAC). Ron is a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant for California Manufacturing Technology Consulting and a CyberAB-RP (registered provider). As a consultant and researcher, he supports the cybersecurity posture of the defense manufacturing industry in California. Ron also has over 30 years of experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)-related work experience in industry and education. He is a veteran Information Technology and Systems professional, researcher, educator, and published author. Ron has led numerous database, systems engineering, and cybersecurity security development projects for the financial services, nuclear power services, and defense manufacturing sectors. In addition, he has worked with large- and medium-sized organizations to ensure secure software development and effective security practices.
Ron holds a Ph.D. in Computer Technology from Nova Southeastern University.
