Robin Saunders
Robin Saunders, Ph.D., Associate Professor, is a contributing faculty member in the Barbara Solomon School of Social Work. Dr. Saunders previously taught Social Work Practice in Children and Family Services and Social Work Practice with Children and Adolescents at Walden. She has over 20 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels in traditional, hybrid, and online formats. Her primary line of research centers around families and children affected by trauma, including child abuse and neglect. She examines multilevel factors that contribute to various outcomes for children, youth, and families (i.e., juvenile crime, homelessness, substance use disorders, etc.). Dr. Saunders has presented her work at local, national, and international social work and child welfare conferences. She has published her work in leading child welfare journals including Children and Youth Services Review and Child Welfare.
