Dr. Rebecca Rodriguez is a Licensed Psychologist who teaches in the field of Clinical Psychology. Her early career was as a pastor and then as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her doctorate at Walden University with a dissertation on Cognitive Strengths and Weaknesses of Pathological Gamblers.

She has worked at several of mental health clinics and in 2002 began her own clinic. In 2014, she sold the clinic, when she moved out of state.
In 2000, she started teaching at Capella University as a full-time Core
Faculty. At Capella she taught the following courses: Practicum, Psychological Testing, Tests and Measurements, Developmental Psychology, History and Systems, Introduction to Psychology, Therapeutic Counseling. In addition, she served as Clinical Training Director, Chaired the Academic Standards Committee, served on the Faculty Review Committee, served as Dissertation Chair and Member, served on the Admission Committee, served on Curriculum Committee, and taught at its on-site teaching residencies. She joined Walden University as a Faculty member in 2023, teaching courses as well as serving on Dissertation Committees.
