Dr. Roberts Martin has an extensive work history in counselor education as well as in clinical counseling and supervision dating back to 1993. Most recently Dr. Roberts Martin worked as a Forensic & Intensive Outpatient Behavioral Health Program Manager at a Community Mental Health agency. She is currently a Senior Clinical Quality Analyst for Unitedhealthcare/Optum for Medicaid and My Care Ohio project in Northeast Ohio. Dr. Roberts-Martin has presented peer-reviewed presentations on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for persistent psychosis and evidenced-based treatment for Hoarding. She has also contributed several chapters in career counseling texts. Her public service history includes service as on the school board for Summit Academy Schools in Canton, Ohio and as a team captain at the Summit County NAMIWalks. Dr. Roberts-Martin is a contributing faculty member at Walden. Her specializations include a certification in Cognitive Therapy from the Cleveland Cognitive Therapy Institute, training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Persistent Psychosis (CBT-p), psychological testing and assessment, cultural diversity, PTSD, veteran’s issues, forensic, supervision, career counseling, hoarding, and SMD.
