Rebecca Roberts Martin
Dr. Roberts Martin, Ph.D., LPCC-S has an extensive work history in counselor education as well as in clinical counseling and supervision dating back to 1993. Dr. Roberts Martin is currently an Associate Director of Clinical Quality for Optum/Unitedhealth Group. Dr. Roberts Martin has presented peer-reviewed presentations on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for persistent psychosis and evidenced-based treatment for Hoarding, and on many other clinical content and quality areas. She has contributed several chapters in 3 career counseling textbooks. Her public service history includes service on the school board for Summit Academy Schools in Canton, Ohio and as a Board member for the Summit County NAMI organization in Akron, Ohio. Specializations include Cognitive Behavioral therapy (Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy graduate), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Persistent psychosis (CBT-p), psychological testing and assessment, cultural diversity, PTSD, veteran’s issues, forensic issues, supervision, career counseling, hoarding, and substance use issues. Dr. Roberts Martin has a certificate in Lean/Six Sigma from Villanova University and an IHI Certification in Basic Quality and Safety. Dr. Roberts Martin has been a contributing faculty member at Walden since 2010, and part-time faculty at Capella University since 2015.
