Paula’s professional background includes over 30 years in the healthcare industry in progressive management positions up to and including a COO of a large integrated delivery system in Northern Illinois. Her areas of expertise include: Physician Practice Management, Ambulatory Care Services, Procedural Area Management and Managed Care. In recent years Paula transitioned into Higher education she has also attained progressive management roles that include Chair, Dean, and Director in a for-profit organization. Her Director of New Business Development position brought her roles of educator and executive to a culminating point in her career. Paula now serves as the Chair of South University’s Online Healthcare Management Department, where she enjoys the role of manager, leader, and educator every day.
Paula’s education includes a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University, a Master’s degree in Business Management from Central Michigan University and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University.
