Dr. OLIVE C. WILLIAMS – BROWN, DNP, PhD, RN, CDONA, LNCC, C-NE

Born in Jamaica, West Indies, Olive Christine Williams-Brown migrated to England at the age of six months and spent most of her childhood there. Her parents are the Rev. and Mrs. PRJ Williams, who after 35 years of serving the New Testament Church of God in England as ministers, retired, in 1997.

While in England she excelled academically and earned a Higher National Diploma in Institutional Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Architecture, and a Master of Arts Degree in Hospital and Health Service Management.

On arrival to the United States, 1984, she wanted to pursue a career in nursing. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide while in Nursing School and became an LPN. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1988, obtained a Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 1993, completed a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Health Administration (2004) and most recently obtained a second doctorate (DNP) Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2012.
