Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Nicole Decuir Square received her PhD in Nursing Education at the University of Northern Colorado in May 2012. She also holds a BSN from Southern University A&M College and an MSN from Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU), with nursing education as her specialty. Dr. Square joined Walden University in 2013 as a contributing faculty member for the School of Nursing. Her professional experience includes over 15 years of experience in nursing professional development where she specialized in the coordination of continuing education/in-services for nurses and other clinical personnel. She also has experience with program development, is certified in neonatal intensive care nursing and nursing professional development, and has served as a clinical and classroom instructor. She has a number of presentations and publications on nursing education and the use of technology in education. Currently, Dr. Square serves as a core faculty member for the MSN Program in the School of Nursing at Walden University.

On a personal note, Dr. Square is married and resides in the South. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
