In the EdD Early Childhood Education specialization, you’ll build skills and progress toward your final capstone project in every course.

In general, students are continuously registered in the dissertation/doctoral study course until they complete their capstone project and it is approved. This usually takes longer than the minimum required terms in the dissertation/doctoral study course shell.
To complete a doctoral dissertation, students must obtain the academic approval of several independent evaluators including their committee, the University Research Reviewer, and the Institutional Review Board; pass the Form and Style Review; gain approval at the oral defense stage; and gain final approval by the Chief Academic Officer. Mr. Turner has over 45 years of senior level financial management experience, including CEO of several banks. He was 32 years old when he was first appointed to the position of bank president, making him, at that time, the youngest bank president in the U.S. He is the retired Chairman and CEO of a holding company which owned a New York Stock Exchange Brokerage firm providing investments, financial planning, and insurance services. At the present time he is Director and CFO of a computer software company with a reporting product used in the legal industry and law firms. He also serves as an Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and has been an Adjunct Professor since 1992. He has been an Adjunct Professor for other universities where he taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in Management, Finance, Economics, Money and Banking, and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Turner earned his degree in Commerce from Bowling Green College of Commerce (Western Kentucky University) with double majors in Accounting and Business Adm., and his Masters Degree in Management from National Louis University. He has been Professionally qualified to instruct Graduate Business courses by Accreditation Council for Business schools and Programs. He serves as a corporate director for several corporations.
His volunteer activities include Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and fund raising activities supporting our wounded veterans.
