Nezam Al-Nsair
Nezam Al-Nsair received his PhD in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati, OH in June 2003. His dissertation was related to heart failure in women. He served as an associate chair of nursing, and associate professor in various nursing school. He joined Walden University on Sept 2012 to teach in the MSN nursing programs. Dr. Al-Nsair is licensed to practice nursing in the state of Ohio and Wisconsin. He is experienced in curriculum development, assessment & evaluation for traditional in-class, hybrid, and online courses, and in Institutional assessment and accreditation. He served on university assessment committee and as an HLC reviewer. He is experienced in online programs and courses development. Dr. Al-Nsair held numerous teaching positions and had the opportunity to teach and/or develop various nursing courses for traditional pre-licensure, Accelerated, Adult RN-BSN, and graduate students. For graduate programs, he taught course such as research methods, evidence-based-practice, capstone for leadership and education tracks, pathophysiology, physical assessment, pharmacology, and informatics. He also served on MSN Theses. His research interests include research in the areas of cardiovascular, heart failure, quality of life, Curriculum mapping & development, curriculum evaluation, assessment of learning outcomes, application of technology in teaching & learning.
