Dr. Heller has been teaching since 2007. He earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Northern Plains University and holds an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Riverbend College. Dr. Heller’s research focuses on practical leadership strategies, team dynamics, and the development of leadership skills in mid-level managers.

With a background in both academia and industry, Dr. Heller brings a pragmatic approach to his teaching. Before transitioning to higher education, he spent several years working in human resources and management roles in various industries, giving him a unique perspective on the real-world challenges that leaders face. His experience in the corporate world allows him to connect with students who are looking to apply leadership theories in their careers.

Dr. Heller has published a handful of articles in regional journals and has presented at several leadership conferences, primarily focusing on leadership development in small to mid-sized organizations.

In the classroom, Dr. Heller is known for his engaging and approachable teaching style. He is passionate about helping his students develop the skills they need to succeed in their careers and often incorporates case studies and practical exercises into his courses.
