Dr. Myia C. Egleton’s formal education is in Social Work where she has served in various roles in both Macro and Micro Social Work over her 13+ year career. Dr. Egleton served as a program coordinator for the South Carolina Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) and 5+ years as a therapeutic counselor working with adults and adolescents. She then moved on to serve 10 years of public service in the federal government. Dr. Egleton 10 years of academic experience includes both online and traditional settings in Psychology and Macro/Micro Social Work. At Walden University, she teaches in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
