Michelle Palmieri
Name: Dr. Michelle Sloane Palmier, DSW, LSW.
Biography: Dr. Palmieri is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she received her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University, her Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, and her Doctor of Social Work from Millersville University. Today, she currently works remotely while living in beautiful Colorado. Dr. Palmieri works for a large health plan on the east coast where she oversees telemedicine and manages a digital application in which she creates new programs to meet the needs of the health plan members.
Dr. Palmieri is a NASW-Colorado Chapter board member as well as a part-time grant reviewer for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Previously she worked in the field of mental health as a clinician, advocate, and director for children and adolescent programs. She has over 10 years’ experience as an educator teaching undergrade and graduate level courses in the school of social work. She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and golfing in her free time.
