Micah Moore

Dr. Micah Moore is a contributing faculty member in the College of Psychology and Community Services at Walden University. Dr. Moore has been teaching collegiate-level courses since 2013. Dr. Moore earned his PhD in Criminal Justice: Leadership from Liberty University. Dr. Moore holds an International Association of Chiefs of Police certification as a Drug Evaluation and Classification Program Instructor. Professionally, Dr. Moore has over 20 years of experience as a law enforcement officer, holding several investigative and leadership positions, and is currently in a leadership role at a premier law enforcement agency in Florida. Dr. Moore’s research interest is drug-impaired driving, with a publication in the peer-reviewed Journal of Traffic Injury Prevention.
