I enjoyed a twenty-five-year career as a law enforcement officer, manager, and administrator in the Nation’s Capital. I served as the college's Executive Director of Public Safety and Security. I have held numerous leadership positions in law enforcement, homeland security, and higher education.

I have been teaching and training in some form or the other for over twenty-five years. I have taught leadership, management, ethics, business, criminal justice, and computer forensics (NCIS type) courses. I was a gubernatorial appointee on the Maryland Handgun Roster Board from 2017 to 2019.
