Dr. Shores has taught for 15 years in the public schools and at the university levels. She teaching in the area of educational psychology, measurement and evaluation and statistics. She serves as a contributing faculty member for the Ph.D. Program in Psychology.
Her research interests include online learning, gender issues, STEM education and motivation, self-regulated learning and attribution in STEM and online learning.
Dr. Shores has served as the Executive Director for School Science and Mathematics Association, has served as the President of Alabaster City Schools Board of Education and holds an Associate Professor appointment with the UAB School of Education.
