Matthew J. Hertenstein received his PhD in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. He currently serves as a part-time faculty member in the School of Psychology at Walden University and has done so for about 10 years. He teaches Developmental, History of Psychology, and Social Psychology at Walden University and Emotional Development, Research Methods, and Introductory Psychology at other colleges. Professionally, Dr. Hertenstein conducts research in the field of emotion and has a number of publications in this area, including the book "The Tell."
