Dr. Mary Misenhimer-Harpring is a contributing faculty member in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Walden. She has taught a variety of courses both in person, online, and in a hybrid format. Most of the courses she teaches are clinical in nature.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a certified professional counselor supervisor (CPCS) in Georgia. She is also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina (LCMHC). She has extensive clinical experience in substance abuse, eating disorders, inpatient care, community agency, private practice, student affairs, and university settings.
