Mary Burke

Mary Burke, PhD, RN, CNE has gained over 25 years of teaching experience in nursing education in higher education. She has over 20 years of teaching online in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing programs. She is currently working as a nurse educator in the hospital setting. She is also a Contributing Faculty member in the Walden MSN Core Competency Based Education program. She was a previous Walden Contributing Faculty member in the MSN Nurse Educator program from 2012-2016. Her nursing experience includes working as a staff nurse in medical-surgical nursing, critical care, post-anesthesia care unit, and emergency department. She is a member of the Rho Zeta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau and is a certified nurse educator through the National League for Nursing.
