Lyn Losty
Marilyn Stankiewicz Losty, PhD, MBA, MS, RN has been a contributing faculty member of Walden University since 2008. She has over 15 years in executive leadership positions as an Account Executive at Hillenbrand Industries and 18 years in higher education at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She is an author of over 30 publications addressing the importance of leadership in health care. Her research interests include the professional development of women in leadership roles, such as nursing and education. Additionally, Dr. Losty has worked as a Nurse Case Manager at the University of Maryland R. Cowley Shock Trauma Center. In this role, she was primarily responsible for identifying appropriate providers and services for trauma patients across the continuum of care.
Dr. Losty holds a PhD from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in Public Policy; an MS from the University of Maryland School of Nursing; an MBA from the University of Baltimore, and a BSN from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA.
